From birthday freebies to restaurants to baby samples, there’s really nothing like getting your favourite lipstick for nothing or enjoying a slice of cake on the house.
That’s why we’ve made it our mission to review and rate Canada’s favourite loyalty programs to show you where to shop to rack up the most freebies.
Why are loyalty programs in Canada so popular?
Major companies love rewarding their customers with rewards points, exclusive savings, special contests, and even free samples because it keeps us coming back for more.
It only makes sense to use these programs to save money, especially if they are items you are already buying often.

Although it’s not a full rewards program, everyone loves the simplicity of the Milestones freebie offer: sign up for their newsletter and get a free hot spinach and artichoke dip!
UPDATE: Cineplex announced that Milestones is now included in their Scene Partners, so you can earn and redeem Scene points when you eat there! We’re going to be adding the Cineplex Scene program to the list shortly, so this rating may change soon…stay tuned!

Let’s face it – a growing family is a great thing, but it sure can be expensive.
Free baby samples are very popular among Canadian families, that’s why top brands do their best to help new and existing parents prepare their kids for a happy, healthy life. They even throw in a few freebies for mommies and daddies, too!
Proctor & Gamble is one of the world’s biggest companies for household products. When you join their P&G Everyday loyalty program, you’ll get access to tons of great coupons and free samples from their popular brands like Pampers, Tide, Cascade, Swiffer, and more.
Calling all new parents and parents-to-be! Huggies has 2 loyalty programs, Huggies Rewards and No Baby Unhugged, where you can receive newborn diapers, wipes and even pregnancy freebies to help you prepare for your little one.
We like this program because you get free samples right away and you can earn points and redeem them for items in their rewards catalogue. You can even redeem points for gift cards or donate your points as diapers to babies in need, which is a creative opportunity to give back.
The Nestlé Baby Club loyalty program is another popular way to get baby samples in Canada. The unique thing about this one is that they give you free samples throughout your babies journey according to their age (but there is no point system.)
You’ll also get a free $130 welcome package when you sign up.
You’ll get $175 in free samples and gifts right away when you sign up for the Similac Club. We also like that Similac sends helpful nutritional information to parents along with formula coupons, especially since becoming a new parent is full of challenges and questions.
Enfamil Family Beginnings is the loyalty program in Canada for Enfamil formula products. Similar to the other family-focused programs, you receive free samples and coupons for formula and other baby essentials leading up to your child’s birth.
They also host monthly challenges that give you the chance to get $5 cash back on your next purchase for watching videos, registering for samples, and other activities on their site.
Signing up for the Ensure Club loyalty program definitely comes with some great perks. You’ll get up to $100 in discounts and bonuses when you join in addition to nutritional information, meal plans, and exclusive Ensure recipes.
Finally, as with most programs, you’ll get exclusive promotions and offers in your inbox throughout the year.
Free beauty samples are a hot commodity on Free.ca, our members typically scoop up free makeup samples within days of them being available.
If you want to try out the latest matte lipstick colour or trendy charcoal face mask, these are the loyalty programs in Canada you need to join.
Become a Beauty Insider for free and earn points on all your purchases that you can redeem for free beauty products! You’ll also get a free beauty gift during your birthday month (check out the 2019 gift here) and discounts on special days and promotions.
M.A.C. Lover is where MUA’s and trendsetters live. That new pigment shade? Got it. The primer with coconut everyone’s been talking about? Tested it and loved it!
